To best understand you as a rider we look at where you’ve been, where you are and where you
want to be.
During the interview, we will discuss any injury history, any current discomfort, assess your physical fitness and any limitations and discuss what you're looking for from the session.
Everyone wants to be as fast as possible, but it’s also critical that you are as comfortable as possible. Every bike fit is about the best compromise between fast and comfortable
In order to understand any potential limitations on the bike we need an understanding of your physiology.
We carry out a standing evaluation, assessing the way you stand, your foot posture/stability, spinal posture, and any asymmetries present in the body. We also carry out a “range of motion” examination to check strength and flexibility to see what type of set up will suit your body.
During this stage we complete a detailed motion capture of you riding using DartFish advanced video technology. We will assess your riding position then propose and make changes to your bike and riding position as required.
We also look at your feet to make sure your shoes and cleat set-up are optimum. This assessment itself works from the pedals up, first setting up your cleat position, and then moving up to your saddle position, to ensure maximum power output.
Then we evaluate your posture and adjust handlebar length and position to give you the most comfortable and efficient position on your bike.
Bike fitting is a process, not a one-off event! You'll need to ride your bike in the new position for a while to allow your body to adapt to the changes we have made. And then we check in with you about a month later to see how you're are doing and make adjustments if required.
All of our bike fits come with a free follow-up appointment to see how you are doing and to give further advice or adjustment if required.
Whether it's a road bike, TT bike or more than one bike, we have a price for you
